The band is Smokin' Toad. They play an eclectic mix of Rhythm & Blues, Blues, and Rock tunes from
the 1930s to the present day, along with a variety of original compositions.
Based out of Hyde Park, New York, Smokin' Toad performs throughout the greater Hudson Valley area. They play
infectious arrangements that will make you want to tap your foot, get up and dance, and sing along.
Formed in late 2005, there are four Smokin' Toads. They are from left to right:
Mike Failla : Drums and all manner of Percussion, and Vocals
Pt Crispell : Acoustic, Electric, Steel and Synth Guitars, Banjo, Mandolin, Trumpet, and Vocals
Bobby Miller : Acoustic and Electric Guitar, and Vocals
Richard Kaiser : Bass and Acoustic Guitar, and Vocals
The band has developed a close bond with the members of Dutchess Horizons of the Mental Health Association,
and have given a number of mini concerts for them. They have also played for the Kiwanis Club and performed a benefit for the Make a
Smokin' Toad is located in Dutchess County close to Poughkeepsie, but play throughout the Mid-Hudson area,
including Ulster, Orange, Putnam, and Columbia Counties.
